My CREATIVE PROCESS

When I was 5 years old I watched a television show called Fun at One. We created whales out of paper bags, newspaper and string. I was so happy. Not only did I create one whale, I had a passion to fill our living room with many, many whales. I can still feel the excitement I felt that day. This was the beginning of my creative self!

As a Montessori teacher I watched children create,complete their lessons, laugh and play.  School was all about the journey without concern for their destination.  Children teach us to play~laugh~sing and dance freely. They create with wild abandon.

I currently work with seniors at a local nursing home encouraging them with their own creative release. We all thrive when we let ourselves play!

Through my life’s experiences I have been drawn to Holotropic Breathwork, mandalas, personal growth therapy and group process.  Energy work is part of my life and I am attuned to  Reiki 3.  I have delved into the Shamanic healing arts including drum and rattle making. Art workshops with Teri Gilfilen, visionary artist, opened me up to the inner eyes of my heart. These are a few of the modalities which reflect my true light.

My path crossed with Chris Zydel, Expressive Arts Teacher in California.  I am a graduate of Wild Heart Teacher Training.  Chris introduced me to authentic, intuitive painting or process painting. My heart sang and my brush danced over the paper.

I continue to practice uncovering what I was born to do on our Earth to help myself and others through creativity.
